The G7th capo (pronounced kay po) not only looks great and feels great but is also designed to be the best capo money can buy.It is easy to use, requiring just one hand to both squeeze it into place on the neck, and to release it by using the lever on the back.
The innovative design featuring a clutch and spring system rather than the norm of just a spring means that the positioning can be made very precise and the need for retuning is lessened. If you play a guitar that has a less than perfectly straight neck then there will almost always be the need for a little bit of a tweak to the tuning. Using the G7th means that this will be lessened though as it doesn't move the strings sideways along the frets thus sharpening or flattening the notes.
Some people may be put off by the high price of this capo compared to others on the market, but as soon as you place it on your instruments neck you will see why. Other capos can be very annoying to use and they can take a deal of messing about with to get the positioning just right. I can safely say this is the best capo I have ever used, and I have tried all kinds.
