Blues players such as Muddy Waters, Albert Collins and Roy Buchanan showed that the Tele was suited to the blues.Bruce Springsteen was rarely seen without his Telecaster, and Keith Richards has composed lots of timeless riffs on his battered and bruised five string model.
Joe Strummer singer and frontman of the legendary punk band The Clash used a tele from the start of his musical career until he died, at the tragically young age of 50.
